Haj Kheder Farmers Harvested their Wheats
The hardworking farmers of Haj Kheder after enduring a lot of hardships harvested their wheats in mid August. But this is tot the end of the work but there is a long way to go to achieve pure wheat.
When the wheats are ripe , the farmers cut them with a tool called "Dasila" (sickle) then took the wheats to the "kharmengah" (stack) and wait for a windy day. When the day comes, the farmers go to the Kharmenga and throw the wheats in the way of the wind (heap the wheats up) by a tool called "Yashen" to separate the wheats from the straw.

To build Haj Kheder of Tomorrow
Haj Kheder village is located amongst the Zagros mountains stretching from northwestern Iran down to the south Central of the country. Haj Kheder is somewhere in the middle of this mountain range.
The weather is mild in the spring and summer, and cold in the late fall and winter although in recent years due to the climate change and global warming, some times this traditional weather pattern is not met in which situation you might find some warm and sunny days in the winter for instance , as we did just weeks earlier. Haj Kheder is not so populated nowadays due to the immigration process but fortunately it is not deserted either.
The main way of living in the past has been farming. This old – if not ancient – village at present has largely turned into a vacation resort for those who have immigrated and now live in different cities of Iran. But Haj Kheder village has different potentials which have not been studied and realized yet.
Some potentials as Agrotourism could be used to build Haj Kheder of tomorrow.
we Hereby would like to thank Mr. Ahmad jafari for contributing to the pictures for this blog.

After that , you have to depart from malayer southward and after passing from Samen , an small town, you turn left and go up a road witch will lead you to Haj Kheder village. Have a good time.
